About Azza

Azza is 5"7", 120 pounds, with hazel eyes and auburn hair.

Since the start of her career, Azza has been a featured dancer in all of New York's top Arabic Nightclubs, such as The Nile, Cedars of Lebanon, Mofeta's, and The Ibis Supper Club. She dances at many Weddings, private parties, and Restaurants in the Arabic, Turkish, Israeli and Greek communities.
She has been featured on Television and in Newspapers and Magazines in the States and South and Central Americas. She has entertained such celebrities as Robert Plant, Bobby Short, Ron Howard, the Rockefeller Family, Donald Trump, Hassan Haknoun, Setrak, and Adnan Koshogi.

She has been in numerous dance troups, mainly those of Yousry Sharif, Serena Wilson, Shoshana, Gamila El Masri and Sayed Reda.

She has been contracted to perform in Japan, Honduras, Bahrain, Sweden, and Colombia. She is brought over regularly to teach and perform in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore.

October 2000 Azza was contracted by the Egyptian Embassy in Tokyo and the 5 star Hilton Hotel to perform 4 shows a day at their Egyptian Food Festival to promote tourism. That same year she performed for the Fashion show in Tokyo and Washington D.C., and performed at the Egyptian Embassy there.

In March 2001 Azza was choosen as the only dancer to perform at Egyptian Pop sensation Hakim's only New York Concert.

Education:
She has studied her art extensively in New York with Yousry Sharif, as well as Serena Wilson, Shoshana, Sufi dancer "Dunya" , Elena Lentini, Jehan Kamal, and Gamila el Masri. She returns regularly to Egypt to study with Raqia Hassan, Aida Nour and Mahmoud Reda.

Teaching Experience:
She has taught beginning through advanced levels in New York area studios, including Serena Studios of Oriental Dance, New York University, Djoniba Dance and Drum Center, and Interfaith Yoga Center.
